Pamela's Memorial Written By:
Pamela Bell, Hul-Wiesenberg

Background:
Robert Henry Bell had a daughter, Barbara Mae Iverson-Bell, by previous marriage to Ruth Iverson of Fresno.  He and Ruth divorced.

Pamela's Life Story:
Robert Henry Bell then married Lillian Dillen-Bell; and together, they adopted Pamela on her birthday, 09/07/1950.  Pamela's biological parents were of Russian heredity, living in San Francisco, and well-known to them.  Lillian tragically passed away from Cancer in 01/1954, when Pamela was age 3.

Robert Henry Bell then later married Irene Nilmeier-Bell of Sanger, California, who had a daughter named Loretta Nilmeier, Lashley-Bane.  Loretta was married to Raymond Bane, a Trucker, of Fresno.
They had two sons, Randy and Danny Bane.  Robert Henry Bell and Irene Nilmeier-Bell continued as Pamela's parents.

On 07/28/1960, Robert Henry Bell also tragically passed away from Cancer; and Irene Nilmeier-Bell continued raising Pamela, age 10.

Pamela graduated from Fresno High School in 1968.  She then went to work for Pacific Bell in San Francisco, 1968-1972.  Pamela returned to Fresno, and took computer coursework at Fresno City College.  She began a career in Computer Administration in 1975, which lasted until 2015, (40 years), when she retired.

Pamela loved horses, and often used only a bridle and blanket when riding with the Banes on country roads around Grantland & Olive Avenues.  Their excursions often took them to the old ice house on Weber Avenue, the gravel and stone yard at Belmont & Hughes, along country railroad tracks, and to Roeding snd Kearney Parks of Fresno.  Pamela often remembered galloping by cotton fields, and cool, fragrant, alfalfa fields, in the early summer.

Pamela's adoptive family, the Banes, were race car fans, heavily involved with cars and trucks.

Pamela got her first car at age 14, and went on to own 7 muscle cars.  Her favorite cars were her '66 Chevrolet Impala, 396, 4-Speed; and her two Camaros:  A Midnight Blue '68 Chevy Camaro, 350, Auto and her Silver '73 Camaro Z28, with a Corvette Engine, 4/Speed.

In 1990, Pamela purchased a home and renovated it from ground to roof.  Her home was located near Blackstone & Clinton.  Pamela had a yard filled with orange and yellow cosmos, delphinium, hollyhocks, lavatera, roses, and sunflowers.  She also grew herbs and vegetables.

In 1992, Pamela took auto mechanics; and truck driving courses, passing with a DMV score of 99%.

In 1996, Eldon Graham met Pamela.  Eldon was a Journeyman Diesel & Truck Mechanic, of Fresno, who was raised out in the country.  Eldon also liked cars, and had built motorcycles.  Eldon and Pamela were soulmates, very much in love; and had much to talk about.

They enjoyed researching their ancestries and heritage:  Scottish and Russian.

Both loved the country, often going for country drives, in the early spring and summer, where Eldon was raised, along the San Joaquin River; and where Pamela had often ridden horseback.

They had a very solid, traditional, and wonderful relationship for 15 years, until Eldon passed away in 2011. Pamela was devastated.

Pamela's biological family is of Russian ancestry, which was very important to her.  She did much research on the Russian Empire and her ancestors.  Pamela's ancestral family names date back centuries in Russia.

Her maternal grandfather (Hul), left Moscow and went to the Brest Region of the Russian Empire, where he met and married her grand- mother, Magdalena, Kupyas. Her maternal grandmother's family (Kupyas), had historical ties to a Russian Monastery in Brest.

Pamela's paternal family are both Lichtenstein's and Wiesenberg's of the Russian Empire.  The Wiesenberg's established two villages there. Pamela's great-grandmother, Augusta Lichtenstein, and great-grandfather, Solomon Harris, lived in Kovnos, Russian Empire.

Pamela often studied the Bible and Russian Orthodox Religion, and had much appreciation for the Saints Of Russia, and their sacrifices for reli- gious freedom.  She researched, and was very interested in God's plan for her.
